Preparing for Little Gal's Arrival

If I had not gone through the miscarriage, I think I would have spent a lot more on buying a lot of unnecessary things to welcome this precious little one. Some things don't matter as much after you lose something invaluable, where no money can buy or bring back to life. Then, I start to appreciate what truly matters. It's not the clothes on my newborn, not the shoes, the beanie nor the mittens... it's the heartbeat...

I finally realised what the old folks mean by not using up the merit that your child is born with. Some of us are born with more; others - less, some - nothing. Regardless of how much we are all born with, never throw away your blessings with unnecessary spending and wastage.

现在人喜欢拿孩子来比 富贵，其实孩子要穷着养，不会损伤他的福报，富贵着他，他不知道时，很多福报就被这样子损伤了。他在不知道的情况下，就损失了这么多福报了。为什么孩子会 感召到这样子损他福报的父母呢，也是因为孩子的福报不够，才会感召到如此损失他福报的父母。就是这个原因。‘
